The name Paloma. Ouch...

We all know that this word (name?) means dove, and we all know and love the girl that it's attached to. But, and I know you all agree with me when I say this no matter what you outwardly say or think (even you Paloma), what the f? So it's a name, is it? No wait, it's a bird. And it's in Spanish. Again, ouch. 

But as the title says, It could be worse. A coworker of mine downloaded the first two episodes of the new Flight of the Conchords season for me, and I was watching it last night on my computer. I watched the credits since they were rolling during one of the songs at the end of the first episode. The name of the location coordinator, you ask? Puloma. Yikes. So, Paloma, no matter how embittered you are at that random string of letters you call a name, just remember, it could be worse, by just one vowel.

I went to an inauguration party over here that some american girl was throwing, and she asked if i could bring some american type songs, and this was the only one i could think of so i brought it over.

I was also asked to bring some food, and it was an "O" theme, you know, for Obama, so i brought oreos, you know, for Obama.

i'm not sure if i like progress anymore. after watching this video, it's getting a little too fast for it's own good, in my opinion. and i guess it's kind of ironic making a blog post about it, since the blog is a semi-recent product of progress. but it sucks cause everyday that you get up you aid progress in some way it seems, like through work and such. the only period of degress i can think of is when the dark ages occured, but it seemed that was a perfect storm of many independent factors, one of which was the invasion of barbarians. also, someone told me obama collects conan the barbarian comic books. coincidence? watch the video

Really though, on the off chance that anyone has checked this blog recently (Will? Matt?), sorry but I've been a busy bee. I'll be back in business (in other words, posting mostly silly things) come February. Stephen you're doing a fine job of holding down the fort. Dude and Dude II are both pretty sweet. I'm currently petitioning to be Austin's Caretaker . . . I'm also still tripping.
